在這一集中，Andrew 跟 Judy在夏威夷度假，Andrew 向 Judy介紹 Uncle Al的新發明---Water Bug。但卻在無意間誤觸了按鈕，所以現在他們二個就到了深海中了，他們在海底會碰到什麼事呢？他們能安全的回到岸上嗎？
故事中的主角Andrew是個10歲的小男孩，很喜歡發明新奇的東西；Judy是Andrew的表姐，比 Andrew大3歲，常常在無意間捲入Andrew製造的麻煩中；Uncle Al是他們二個的叔叔，同時也是一個頂級科學家；Thudd則是 Uncle Al送給 Andrew的聰明迷你機器人。這一系列的故事主要在描寫因為 Andrew的新發明而將他們帶入的一連串的冒險活動。Andrew, Judy, and Thudd are off to Hawaii! Andrew’s uncle is working on a new invention, the submarine-like Water Bug. When Andrew tries to make a few improvements, he ends up trapping himself, Judy and Thudd inside!
