“ The illustration capture in a few stylized lines and dots Will’s pride in his cap, the tenuousness of his bravery when he is hurt, and his total comfort—both physical and emotional—as he sits on a stool near the ironing board, wrapped in a large warm towel , and sipping a soda with his eyes closed. Fresh and wonderfully child centered.”--- The Horn Book |
