On the top of each page is the name of a shape. When you turn the dial and come to a picture of that shape-presto!-another picture appears, too. So, on the circle page, when you dial up a circle, a full moon appears above the pumpkin patch filled with circular pumpkins. It's a visually fun way for kids to tell when they're correct.
